About our Fruit

Crow Mountain Orchard has a lot of fruit.

• 25,000 apple trees including 25 different varieties available between June 20 and December 15
• 2,500 peach and nectarine trees including the popular freestone varieties, Indian Cling, and white peach
• 2 acres of seedless grapes in six varieties
• 7 varieties each of pears and plums that start ripening in mid-July
• Fresh CIDER

As our customers attest to, nothing compares to farm fresh fruit. The words sweet, juicy, crisp, firm and affordable are often heard in our salesroom from customers sampling our many popular varieties of peaches, pears, grapes and apples. We go to the trouble of planting only the best varieties, pruning them throughout the year, thinning them to get the biggest size, and very carefully picking them to bring them to you without bruises or blemishes. Crow Mountain Orchard has built a reputation for selling some of the finest fruit in the Southeast. Our customers come from as far away as Florida, Birmingham, Tennessee and Georgia. We have become a destination point for church and senior groups from all over this region. We have customers who started coming here 25 years ago when Carol was selling apples out of a lean-to shed and they are still coming. We didn't have to read fancy management books to know that selling top-quality products and treating our customers right would lead to success. That's just old-fashioned common sense. 		Superior Grower Award The Alabama Fruit and Vegetable Growers Association presented their Gold Seal, Gold Ribbon, Superior Grower Award to Mr. Robert Deutscher, right, of Crow Mountain Orchard recently at Auburn University. The award was given in recognition for his untiring work and dedication to the Alabama Fruit and Vegetable Industry.
